Fiber-Option Installation

Installing fiber optic lines requires a careful and systematic approach.
Below is an overview of how AGS typically installs fiber optic lines for your construction project.

Distance, terrain, obstacles, etc.

Planning and Surveying

Before installation begins, the AGS thoroughly surveys the area to determine the optimal route for the fiber optic lines. Factors such as distance, terrain, existing infrastructure, and potential obstacles are considered during the planning phase.

Trenching along the planned route

Trenching or Directional Drilling

Our team excavates trenches along the planned route for burying the fiber optic cables. In some cases, directional drilling may be used to install underground lines without extensive trenching.

Carefully laid in trenches or conduits

Cable Installation

Fiber optic cables are carefully laid in trenches or conduits. These cables consist of one or more thin strands of optically pure glass or plastic, which carry digital data as light pulses.

Fusing fibers seamlessly

Splicing and Termination

As the fiber optic cables are laid, they may need to be spliced together to reach their entire length. Specialized equipment is used to fuse the individual fibers seamlessly. Termination points are established at both ends of the cables, allowing easy connection to network devices.

Ensure the integrity of the network

Testing and Commissioning

Once the fiber optic lines are installed and terminated, rigorous testing is performed to ensure the integrity of the network. This includes checking for signal loss and data transmission quality and identifying potential issues that may require correction.

Services of Fiber Optic Lines:

High-Speed Internet: Fiber optics are widely used for high-speed internet connections, offering significantly faster data transfer rates than traditional copper cables.

Telecommunications: Fiber optic lines are crucial for long-distance and high-quality voice communication, enabling crystal-clear phone calls and video conferencing.

Data Transmission: They are used for data transmission in various industries, including data centers, financial institutions, and cloud computing services.

Cable TV and Video Streaming: Fiber optics support the delivery of high-definition cable TV signals and video streaming services.

Smart Grids: In the energy sector, fiber optics play a role in smart grid technologies, facilitating efficient communication and management of power distribution.

Medical Imaging: Fiber optic lines are used in medical devices, such as endoscopes, for transmitting images and data during procedures.

Benefits of Upgrading to Fiber Optic:

High-Speed Data Transmission: Fiber optics can transmit data at gigabit speeds, providing faster and more reliable internet connections and data transfer.

Greater Bandwidth: Fiber optic cables have a much higher bandwidth capacity than copper cables, allowing more data to be transmitted simultaneously.

Long-Distance Transmission: Fiber optics can transmit data over long distances without significant signal loss, making them ideal for connecting distant locations.

Immunity to Electromagnetic Interference: Unlike copper cables, fiber optics are unaffected by electromagnetic interference, ensuring a stable and secure data transmission.

Security: Fiber optic signals are difficult to tap into, providing a more secure means of data transmission, making it harder for potential intruders to intercept sensitive information.

Reliability: Fiber optic cables are less prone to damage from environmental factors like moisture, temperature changes, and corrosion, leading to a more reliable network connection.

Future-Proofing: Upgrading to fiber optic infrastructure ensures your network can handle future technological advancements and higher data demands.
